In 1982, Galeon was founded and has since remained a privately owned company that specializes in the construction of luxury yachts and motorboats. Thanks to a clear vision and steady growth, the company has grown immensely and now employs over 1,400 people across 36,000 square meters of production and assembly halls. This gives Galeon the ability to take on any size project, no matter how ambitious.
Galeon has emerged as one of the rare Polish yacht producers to earn world-wide admiration, even amidst fierce rivalry from Western European manufacturers. To stay ahead of the game, the firm has been investing in innovative technologies, bettering material production and assembly, and joining forces with well-known designers including Tony Castro and Roberto Curtò.
Galeon split its production into two segments: motor yachts under the Galeon brand and 4-8m long powerboats under the Galia brand.
The Shipyard has a presence in both the domestic market where it makes up 10% of sales, and globally with exports accounting for the majority. Its production is noted to be of quality and features rivaling leading global manufacturers but is offered at a more attractive starting price. Europe, the United States, and Asia are the top recipients of the Shipyard’s exports.
Galeon is proud to boast a comprehensive selection of semi-enclosed sports cruisers with the Hardtop Coupe (HTC) and Hardtop Sport (HTS) series, ranging from 10 to 13 meters in length. This series was recently bolstered by the addition of the GTO (Grand Touring Outboards) series, particularly the popular 11.5 meter Galeon 375 GTO.
In addition, the firm also offers an extensive selection of Tony Castro designed yachts of 12.5 to 25.4 meters in length, including the award-winning Galeon 640 Fly–which won ‘Best Flybridge over 60 feet’ at the 2019 Motor Boats & Yachting Awards–and the Galeon 680 Fly–awarded ‘Best Exterior Design’ at the 2019 World Yacht Trophies. The largest of the series is the luxurious 25.4 meter, 4-cabin Galeon 800 Fly. Lastly, Galeon has introduced its cutting-edge Galeon Skydeck series, uniquely combining the functionalities of both Galeon flybridge and Galeon hardtop models.
